What's covered

  • Seams coming apart
    Stitching that unravels or separates at major seams under normal wrestling use.
  • Stress-point failures
    Reinforcement points giving way during practice or competition.
  • Manufacturing defects
    Skipped stitches, loose threads, or misaligned panels from our facility.
  • Strap and bindings
    Shoulder straps, leg openings, and strap bindings.

What's not covered

  • Normal fabric wear and tear
    Singlets aren't indestructible. Years of mat use will eventually thin fabric.
  • Wear from rough surfaces
    Damage from sitting on bleachers in just a singlet (common for youth wrestlers).
  • Improper washing
    Hot water, dryer heat, bleach, or fabric softener damage.
  • External damage
    Snags, tears, or punctures from sharp objects or rough surfaces.
  • Alterations or modifications
    Any singlet hemmed, patched, or repaired by a third party.
  • Chemical exposure
    Damage from pool chlorine, harsh cleaners, or paint.

Protect your investment

The 5-step care routine

Follow these every wash. Takes the same time as regular laundry. Doubles the lifespan of every singlet.

Turn it inside out.
Before every wash. Protects the sublimated graphics from rubbing against other clothing in the machine.
Cold water only.
Hot water breaks down the fabric structure and fades sublimation. Use the coldest setting your washer allows.
Mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
Softener coats the fabric and destroys its moisture-wicking properties. Bleach degrades graphics and elasticity.
Hang dry. Never use the dryer.
Heat is the fastest way to kill a singlet. Hang it flat or drape over a hanger. Dries in a few hours.
Don't iron the graphics.
Heat will warp sublimated designs permanently. If you need to remove a wrinkle, steam from a distance.

If a seam fails on your Vantage Athletic singlet within 24 months of delivery, we'll replace the singlet. No fine print, no fights, no fees.

Most wrestling singlet companies offer no warranty at all. The few that do, cover 30 or 90 days — barely past the season opener. We cover seam failures for two full years because we build every seam to last that long.

Every panel is double-stitched. Every stress point is reinforced. Every singlet is pressure-tested before it leaves our facility.
